STEM Schools

S.T.E.M. schools are those that focus a core curriculum around Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. STEM schools were initially conceived by the National Science Board (a 25 member committee designated by the President of the United States) to advance recruiting opportunities by grooming US children to become future leaders in STEM-related career fields. This directive was a direct attempt to improve the innovation and global competitiveness of America in the near future.
